Floatlings (Plotosapien volans) are a sapient species of Enderia in Imperialism of Illagers who originated in the Echoing Abyss.
Biology[]
Floatlings are legless creatures, possessing a fish-like tail to move around and are able to biologically produce methane. The produced methane are stored in blubbers throughout their body as well as a large sac behind the head which can be inflated or deflated for communication. They possess a pair of fins each having three long, flexible digits and an opposable digit, primarily used for manipulation and was intended to better grip on surfaces while resting. They have a four-lobed mouth and a pair of retractable eyestalks. They have a greenish scaly skin with some parts being black such as the tip of their fins, their fingers, and tail.
Society[]
Floatlings are more primitive compared to other Enderians other than Deltacrawlers. They are however advanced enough to form simple civilizations beyond caveman-like tribes.
