Herobrine is the posthumous antagonist of Imperialism of Illagers, leader of the Obsidian Legion. He first appeared in the Lore of Inamortia before appearing in the first episode of Inamortia Shorts.

Appearance[]

Herobrine is a human with glowing white eyes, shadowy brown skin, and dark brown hair. His attire includes a set of dark armor with purple patterns along with a black hoodie. He wielded dual obsidian pickaxes imbued with purple lightning.

Personality[]

Herobrine was an egocentric and irrational person who had a thirst for more power. He was also tyrannical and ruthless, ruling through fear. Despite so, it seems that he had gained respect to his followers, as their descendants believe his rule was the glorious era for their ancestors.

Biography[]

Herobrine was originally a miner, however after an unknown event he acquired the ability to command lightning, reanimate the dead, and alter the genes of organisms (or corrupting). With a thirst of power, he armed the zombies he controlled along with the Illagers' help, who also joined the legion willingly because of their hatred against the Mortius Empire.

However, his army wasn't enough, and he was forced to retreat. He then traveled to the other planets to get more troops and power. In Netheria, the Witherkin and most Blazes pledge alliance and they aid the warlord in hunting down pigmen to be zombified. Similar thing happened in Enderia, the Deltacrawlers pledge alliance and Herobrine zombified endermen for his army, as well as altering a large Ender Dragon into the thundering Primarch Dragon.

Gathering his new massive army, Herobrine unleashed a counter attack against the Mortius Empire. Now severely outnumbered, the Mortius Empire was slowly collapsing and finally came to an end after Herobrine killed Emperor Charlemagne in a duel.

Herobrine ruled with an iron fist in the three worlds for years. An ultimate dystopia where many races were hunted for food and slaves. His reign of terror was challenged when the Legendary Heroes appeared, who tackled his army and managed to ultimately defeat him. They ripped Herobrine's power from his body; the power was condensed in an orange cube while the body was caged in a white cube.

Skills and Abilities[]

Herobrine Polearm

Herobrine was an adept Necromancer, being able to reanimate the dead to be added in his army. With the use of advanced Soul Magic, he could corrupt organisms by altering their genetics, such as the Illagers and Primarch Ender Dragon. He wields dual obsidian pickaxes which are more powerful than netherite pickaxes, can be thrown like a boomerang, and can be combined to form a dual-bladed polearm. He can also use purple lightning against his enemies, or just for intimidation. The tyrant has the capability to create portals at will to transport his armies, which eliminated many logistic issues for his inter-planetary empire. He is ranked the second most powerful non-cosmic character in the entire series before Zandalfor.

Trivia[]

  • Herobrine's concept is a combination of these things.
    • His armor is stylized similarly to Herobrine in Fractures, only with purple-colored patterns.
    • His physical shadow corruption and black hoodie is based on the elite Herobrine vessels in Annoying Villagers.
    • His weapons of choice is based on the common depiction of Herobrine wielding a pickaxe as a weapon, only in this case the pickaxe is stylized similarly to the Herobrine weapons in Annoying Villagers.
    • His ability to combine his pickaxes into a dual-bladed polearm is inspired by Death's sickles from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
  • He is the indirect cause of the Imperialism of Illagers series, as Zandalfor's main motive is to bring back the Illagers to their glorious era during Herobrine's ancient rule, and he wields the Orb of Dominance, the physical manifestation of Herobrine's powers.
