Maga Maya Valdez the Coven Mistress is a protagonist in Imperialism of Illagers who debuted in Rise Up. She is the last leader of Magipars Coven after her adoptive father, Gwydion.

Appearance

Maya is the last member of the human subspecies known as enchanted humans (H. sapiens magicus), bearing a pale skin with a complexion of large, pale magenta eyes, along with purple hair. Alike to all witches in Magipars Coven, Maya wears a black witch hat with a green, glowing gem on it. From the shoulders to waist, she dons a purple shoulder-less dress with dark green linings. From the waist down, she dons a short skirt with purple, kneel-high socks and black shoes. She is slightly shorter than average.

Personality

Sympathetic and generous, she has a persistence for having the responsibility to lead the Coven.

Biography

Rise Up

In Rise Up, she was sitting inside a house, having a shocked expression when she received the news of Zandalfor coming to the Magipars Coven’s territory. When he was near, she prepared the Coven for a fight and sent out a small group of iron golems and mages. In the ruins, three Illager soldiers attacked her and she killed two by throwing Arcane Blades on them and one by shooting Arcane Bullets on the soldier. Then, Zandalfor teleported in front of her with the help of the Orb of Dominance and pointed his staff on her. She summoned three Arcane Blades behind her and shot them on him, but they missed because he teleported away. Suddenly, he teleported in front of her and before she could summon a barrier, he hit her, but she blocked some of his attacks. Then Zandalfor suddenly teleported behind her and kicked her in the back, overwhelming her by hitting her with his staff and kicking her. After that, he hit her in the stomach with his staff, making her fly away. Before Zandalfor could destroy her with an explosive beam, she threw a Teleportation Pearl and teleported out of the battlefield, her hat levitating away to her.

Maya is a proficient Mana Construction Mage, being able to summon Mana Weapons, Mana Bullets or Mana Barriers in battle using her book Arcane as her conduit. She can also perform telekinesis.
