Rise Up is the second episode of the first season of Imperialism of Illagers released at October 22, 2022. It uses the song from TheFatRat with the same name.
Synopsis[]
The invasion of Illagers begins now. Two heroines Lucy and Maya are devoted to protect their villages.
Plot[]
The episode started with Henry Jonathan, Xena Rutherford, Miley Woods, and Albert Brown resting in a camp during night. Miley asked Henry about their next step, to which Henry answered that they would be going to the Ireden Town to gather supplies, as Xena was worried about the safety of her people.
In a small village within a plains biome, Lucy and Timmy Frank entered their home to rest. Later the little villager laid on bed as Lucy read stories for him. Seeing Timmy fell asleep, Lucy cracked a brief smile before being interrupted by a villager who warned her about the imminent arrival of the Illager army. Shocked and worried with the safety of her adopted son, she gave Timmy to the villager to bring him to safety. The villager was concerned with her, but she reassured him. After they left, Lucy wore her armor and grabbed her steel sword, ready for a battle.
Some time later, an Illager batallion led by Gladia Naeuda had burnt the village and killed its only golem protector. Gladia walked to the village center but was interrupted by Lucy. Gladia then commanded some illager troops to attack her, but Lucy killed them with relative ease. Gladia then decided to take matter on her own hands and fought Lucy head on. The duel went slightly on Lucy's favor, but Gladia managed to distract Lucy and wound her. Lucy fell to her knees, and was beheaded in one swing of Gladia's axe.
Somewhere else in another village, the leader of the village Maya Valdez was shocked reading a message about the Illager army's imminent arrival, with Astrid Blaire worriedly asking about her next course of actions. Maya then told her to evacuate the inhabitants, which Astrid complied. As the Illager batallion led by Zandalfor Baskrada himself drew closer, Maya had gathered all the golems in her village and watched as her people evacuated from the village.
Later the Illager battalion wrecked havoc in the village, with an illager managed to blast an iron golem with his firework crossbow. Somewhere else, Maya confronted several illagers and managed to swiftly defeat them with her spells. Zandalfor then teleported in and teleported his fallen troops away from the scene. The Illager King ordered Maya to surrender Arcane to him, but Maya declined, to his fury. Zandalfor and Maya then fought in a fierce duel, which Zandalfor was able to overwhelm the Coven Mistress and kicked her afar. As Zandalfor prepared his laser attack, the wounded Maya pulled out a teleportation pearl and threw it as an escape attempt. Zandalfor then fired a laser beam to Maya, which caused a small explosion and leaving her hat behind. Realizing that Maya managed to escape, the disappointed Zandalfor teleported away from the scene. Then off-screen, Maya using her remaining energy telekinetically moved the hat to her.
In a large castle, Vettel Baskrada warned Queen Dillyn Central about the Vardoclya Kingdom's defeat from the Obsardis Kingdom, to which she ordered him to ready the cannons and find the Purple Trader for her. The illagers complied and left the scene off screen as Dillyn squinted.
